About Shelly Power
Shelly Power has been an integral part of Polestar Pilates since its founding in 1992. She teaches and presents throughout the United States and internationally, leads Polestar Faculty trainings, administers exams, and conducts workshops for movement professionals around the world. A sought-after presenter at Pilates and fitness conferences, Shelly is recognized for her ability to blend the foundational work of Joseph Pilates with contemporary movement education.
Shelly is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) and served on the Pilates Method Alliance Board of Directors from 2013–2019. She has also contributed to the profession through service on numerous PMA and NPCP committees.
