Explore the between the pelvis, hip, and thigh in the context of movement efficiency and overall functional health utilizing the principles of Zoga Movement®.

This 3-hour workshop explores the intricate relationship between the pelvis, hip, and thigh in the context of movement efficiency and overall functional health. Rooted in the principles of Zoga Movement®, the session is designed to deepen your understanding of body mechanics and provide practical tools for assessment and strategy development.

We will begin by examining static postural alignments and their impact on functional movement patterns. Through guided exercises, participants will learn how to assess the pelvis, hip, and thigh in both static and dynamic contexts, identifying movement restrictions, compensations, and inefficiencies.

Building on this foundation, we will explore how to improve alignment, mobility, and stability in the pelvis, hip, and thigh by enhancing tissue glide and fostering functional integration within the body systems. These biomechanical insights will be paired with movement strategies to create a ripple effect, optimizing overall movement quality and efficiency.

By the end of this workshop, participants will have gained:
  • Practical skills for assessing the biomechanics of the pelvis, hip, and thigh in both static and movement scenarios.
  • Strategies to enhance tissue glide, alignment, and stability for improved functional movement.
  • A deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of the myofascial system and its role in movement efficiency.
