Pilates Hour

Lisa Shaw

Thank you for this wonderful platform. . Pilates Hour has been a place that combines the mind, body, and spirit so that i can apply Pilates, Somatics, Heartmath and my life coaching modalities. I find a personal connection as well, as you always hit many areas. Todays topic with Ginger was a reminder from the early 90’s with my voice teacher, Rowina Balos. She led us to go deep into the pelvis. MY great-acting coah as well .I read their books now, wishing I heeded the wisdom then. I would rather run a mountain than face the emotions deep down. We grow into knowing we can move those mountains and find our voice physically and emotionally. Thank you! Lisa Shaw OutragezYou

Thank you for going deep under the skin. Being a holistic coach, the mind has to be connected to the healing journey. Getting where it hurts is often in the mind that i stuck in the body. Having spirituality is crucial , for me as a follower of Jesus. It is such a practice to find hope and joy when it ihurts. Today topic was quite timely. Thank you again!!!

I absolutely love these exercise breakdowns. Sure, we’ve taught for years and practiced Pilates for even more but it’s still fun to dissect things together and Shelly is brilliant at helping us look at the old through fresh eyes.
