Myth and Science of Pilates Breathing

Explore the scientific and practical applications of breath as it pertains to movement efficiency within the Pilates environment. Emphasis will be placed on how breath facilitates movement and comparatively how movement facilitates breath. This workshop will examine the differences between varying breathing styles within the practice of Pilates and what is facilitated with each style. Discussion will follow pertaining to the question “Is there a right way to breathe?”
